“We count ourselves very lucky our daughter is able to take piano lessons with Rhonda Chalone.  Simply put, Rhonda could be the blueprint for music education. 

Not only does Rhonda keep lessons interesting, fun and challenging, but she finds a way to work with the student, to pick music the student is interested in learning.  Rhonda also engages beyond “learn this piece” and “practice these scales/drills”.

One of Rhonda’s most valuable attributes is her endless patience when helping the student find their way through difficulties with any part of a piece of music.  Rhonda will work until they’ve broken down the difficulty and found a way to progress and move forward.  The student is never left feeling they just have to grind it out.

Our daughter has learned more than how to play what’s on the page, thanks to Rhonda she’s receiving music education, learning a work ethic, and gaining an appreciation for the process.  We couldn’t be happier”
